Nobuo Uematsu Doing The Last Story's Music
Mystery composer revealed in latest Iwata Asks column.
Another mystery staff member was revealed in the latest Iwata Asks column for The Last Story today. Just as surprising as it was to find that the upcoming Wii RPG was directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi himself, how's this for a surprise: the game's music is being handled by Nobuo Uematsu.
Actually, this may not be a surprise at all considering how frequently Sakaguchi and Uematsu work together. Uematsu, in addition to being associated with many of the Final Fantasy games, worked on the music for Sakaguchi's recent large scale productions, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.
Much of the Iwata asks column consists of Sakaguchi and Uematsu reminiscing about the past, but Sakaguchi did reveal that that he had Uematsu create around 40 songs for the game.
