Kingdom Under Fire II Set for PS3

X360/PC title coming to Sony platform with exclusive download content.

Blueside's Kingdom Under Fire II was previously announced just for Xbox 360 and PC. But as of today, the game is coming to PlayStation 3 too. The Korean developer announced the PlayStation 3 version at a joint press conference with Sony Computer Entertainment Korea at Pusan's G-Star 2010 event.

The PlayStation 3 version, which has been under consideration since the project was in the planning phase, will be released within months of the PC version. Blueside lists a 2012 time frame.

Blueside is optimizing its internally developed engine for the PS3 and promises graphics at the same level of the PC version. The PS3 version will have also some bonuses, including exclusive download missions, and "characters that are representative of the PlayStation brand."

Although the announcement was made in Korea, Blueside CEO Se-Jung Kim indicated that a worldwide release is planned.
