Dragon Ball Kai Official Site Opens
Details on the auto block system, and a first look at the bonus item.
Namco Bandai opened a full official site for Dragon Ball Kai Ultimate Butouden. The fighting game first popped up in Jump a couple of weeks back and received a preliminary teaser site with a few screens.
The official site lists a few additional details.
You'll be able to select special moves by tapping the bottom screen. Alternatively, you can use fighting game-style command based inputs.
The bottom screen also has buttons for increasing or decreasing your "ki" level. Depending on this level, your ki gauge will be depleted in different quantities when you do special attacks.
Jump made some vague mention about the game automatically blocking for you. The official site confirms that when you aren't pressing anything, your character will auto block weak attacks and energy beam attacks. If you're moving forward, you'll auto block energy beam attacks.
The site also has a first look at the game's first print run bonus item. Buyers will get a special card for arcade card game Dragon Ball Heroes.
Dragon Ball Kai is due for February 3 release at ¥5,040.
