Level-5 previously announced that it would be donating a portion of Inazuma Eleven 3 sales to give soccer balls to children in South Africa as part of 11 For Africa, a charity jointly managed with soccer legend Hide Nakata's NPO Take Action Foundation. Today, Level-5 provided a status update on the donation.

As of the end of September, Inazuma Eleven 3's Spark and Bomber editions sold a total of 1,101,040 units. Level-5 is donating 11 yen per unit sold, resulting in a donation of 12,111,440 yen. This money will result in over 20,000 balls.

The actual ground work of the charity is being handled by Unicef, which will be using the balls to assist in education programs for South African children.

The final donation amount will be determined using sales of Inazuma Eleven 3 Spark and Bomber editions through March 2011.
