The 2011 edition of Shueisha's annual Jump Festa event kicks off today at 9:00 at the Makuhari Messe convention center just outside Tokyo.

While not a Tokyo Game Show sized event, Jump often has some big showings, with Square Enix debuting footage and playable demos for many of its biggest games. This year, Capcom is also getting in on the fun with the promise of a new Marvel vs Capcom 3 announcement of some form.
