Spike Bringing Homefront to Japan

North Korean invasion of the US to be fully localized for Japanese audiences.

Spike's latest localization project is a Japanese version of THQ's Homefront -- you know, the first person shooter which depicts a North Korean invasion of America.

An invasion of Japan by North Korean nuclear warheads is probably more on the minds of the average Japanese person. Spike obviously won't be changing the game's setting and premise, but they are giving it a full localization with Japanese voice and text.

An official site went live today. It has a mostly live action subtitled trailer.

The Japanese release for Homefront is set for Spring, meaning it shouldn't trail the overseas versions' March releases too far.
