Cave Has Important News to Share
Latest shooter news coming in February.
Shooting specialist Cave will be gathering the press and fans in Akihabara late next month for an event it calls "Important News From Cave 2011."
Set to be held throughout the day on on February 19 at Akihabara's Belle Sale hall, the event will see a merchandise corner, a game demo corner, and a stage event where new announcements will be made.
The event schedule looks like this:
- 10:00 to 12:00: Merchandise Corner
- 12:30 to 13:30: Stage Event
- 13:30 to 17:00: Game Corner
- 13:30 to 17:00: Help Wanted Corner
The Stage Event promises introductions to the company's latest console, mobile, online and social games, along with the possibility of surprise announcements.
The Game Corner will have console, mobile, online and social games, along with a present of some form for early arrivers. Games mentioned for play include Muchi Muchi Pork for Xbox 360 (due for release on 2/24) and Shin Megami Tensei Imagine (an MMORPG that's currently in service).
The Help Wanted corner is for those who want to work at Cave. Human resources representatives will be on hand to speak with applicants.
Cave has opened an official Japanese site for the event. Details on goods for the merchandise corner will be announced there.
This is actually the second time we've heard about a February press event from Cave. Late last year, development head Makoto Asada revealed at his blog plans for at least three game announcements.
