BlazBlue Continuum Shift II Screens
A close look at the various modes in the 3DS and PSP version of the arcade fighter.
Arc System Works has shared screens and additional details for BlazBlue Continuum Shift II, the upcoming PSP and 3DS port of the arcade game of the same name.
Have a look at the media below. Based off the resolution, the screens appear to be from the PSP version.
CSII hits PSP and 3DS on March 31, both priced ¥5,229.
The packaging looks pretty much identical for the two versions, although it does look like the art fits a bit better on the taller PSP boxes.
The main menu shows the following options:
- Score Attack
- Legion 1.5
This all new feature is a dungeon RPG where you work your way down towards the "Abyss" of a multi floor city called Kagutsuchi. By defeating foes, you earn power up items which can be used to power up your character.
If you die in this mode, the game will end and you'll reset back to the starting floor. However, items that you've obtained at least least once in the mode will appear in the game's shop for later purchase, so you'll be able to restart with a powered up character.
Story mode features nineteen stories. Seventeen come from BlazBlue Continuum Shift. Two are new for CSII. One of the new stories tell how heroines Noel, Tsubaki and Makoto met.
The stage count has doubled to six. The mode also sees updated gameplay systems.
