This week's Media Create sales chart is packed with new releases, all owing to a particularly busy January 27.

Topping the charts was The Last Story, the long awaited Wii RPG epic from Mistwalker and Final Fantasy father Hironobu Sakaguchi. Including sales of its Wii hardware bundle, the game sold 114,722 units.

The top 20 was packed with new releases, including such big sequels as Valkyria Chronicles 3 and Kenka Bancho 5. Valkyria Chronicles 3 sold 102,779 units, besting its predecessor's 94,000 unit debut. Kenka Bancho 5 didn't do so well. The series has gone from 54,000 for part 3 to 72,000 for part 4, back down to 58,977 for part 5.

Also in the top 10, a few girl heavy Xbox 360 games. Hostess simulator prequel Dream Club Zero debuted in 8th place with 21,734 units. School girl shooter Gal Gun debuted in 13th with 12,419 units. On PSP, a conversion of the "Oreimo" light novel sold an impressive 88,493 units, good for 3rd place.
