Lots of Tales of the Abyss 3DS Screens

Namco Bandai takes the full veil of the 3DS version of the classic PS2 Tales game.

Namco Bandai took the full veil off the 3DS version of Tales of the Abyss today, sharing lots and lots of screens and some details on what's changed from the PS2 version.

Most of the details were mentioned in a Famitsu article a couple of weeks back. The new features list for the 3DS version includes the following:

  • 3D output to give impact to event scenes and battle scenes alike
  • Register character skills to the bottom screen for quick access during battle
  • New main visual (shown above) drawn by character designer Kousuke Fujishima

The game received an official site last week with some slick pseudo 3D effects. This has yet to be updated with content.

Tales of the Abyss is due for 3DS release this Spring.
