Professor Layton Crosses Eleven Million Shipments

Level-5 to celebrate new 3DS version's release with live webcast completion ceremony.

Why does Level-5 have so much money? Here's four of the reasons:

The Professor Layton series has crossed the 11 million mark in worldwide shipments, Level-5 revealed today. The exact figure the publisher gave out is 11.47 million units, split across the four DS titles. This does not include shipments for 3DS launch title Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.

Level-5 will be pushing the 3DS title with a completion ceremony, although not the type of completion ceremony we're used to seeing from the company. To commemorate the game's release, Level-5 will host a completion ceremony in the form of a live webcast. This will be held from 19:00 to 21:00 on the 24th (ahead of the 26th release date) and will feature talk sessions with Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino and the voice cast, as well as an introduction to the new game.

The broadcast will be done through Ustream. The URL will be shared at the official site soon.

Miracle Mask is a 3DS launch title.
