We're used to seeing iPhone games get updated for iPad play. But Jubeat is making the reverse trip. The once iPad-only app is, as of Saturday, a unversal app, meaning it's playable on iPhone too.

Konami has updated the interface for iPhone players. Additionally, they've made it so that you can share songs between your iPhone, iPad and iPod.

The app can be played on 3GS and beyond.

The main Jubeat app with a pre-installed selection of songs is free Expansion song packs cost ¥450 each. New packs are on the way, including early samplings of upcoming Jubeat Knit songs.
