Yakuza Of the End: Karaoke, CEO, T-Shirt, Razor and Cologne Tie-Ups
Let's get up to date on Sega's latest collaboration efforts.
We're getting behind in our coverage of Yakuza Of the End's billion-or-so tie-ups, so let's get caught up.
Yakuza Of the End has a tie-up with Watamin-chi, an izakaya chain. Watamin-chi CEO Makoto Sawamura will lend his likeness to the game. Clear a special mini quest, and you'll be able to purchase an original item called "Ore no Nikomidon." This item will also be sold at Watamin-chi restaurants for ¥418 from 3/1 to 4/30.
If you'd like to see how in-game Sawamura compares to real world Sawamura, visit 4Gamer. Sega announced the tie-up late last week at a tasting event attended by Sawamura and series producer Toshihiro Nagoshi.
Yakuza Of the End also has a tie-up with Karaoke chain Karaoke-kan. This one was held in past Yakuza games starting with Yakuza 3.
New for Of the End, you'll get to see Ryuji Goda and Majima Goro perform karaoke for the first time. Karaoke-kan is also holding a present campaign from 2/21 to 3/31. Winners of the campaign could win original t-shirts, a Kai 5 Yakuza Set razor, and Black Dragon cologne. The cologne's creation was supervised by Toshihiro Nagoshi himself.
There's less than a month left until Of the End's release, so expect Sega's collaboration promotions to kick into high gear form here on out.
