Some Mega Man Legends 3 Development Screens
Director provides an early glimpse and shows how the game has progressed since its announcement.
Here's what Mega Man Legends 3 looks like at this stage of its development:
Director Masakazu Eguchi shared these current prototype images today at the game's official blog.
Eguchi also shared some previous prototype images:
June 2010
A demo made by a small number of staff. This early prototype was to test background scrolling. They used Mega Man character data from a different game because they hadn't finished the playable characters for Legends 3.
They also made a demo of Teomo City, also using the old Mega Man character data. The direction of the design wasn't finalized at this point.
August 2010
Testing out a wide area in the image of the town. They also made a demo of a ruins area. They had originally planned to make the whole of Klickelan Island, but it was too big so they concentrated on Teomo City.
September 2010
This is Teomo City ahead of the game's announcement. It was shown briefly in the PV. They only made the area that can be seen from town, but the actual island itself is extremely big. Can you see Roll in the image with the hospital?
