Capcom Readying Monster Hunter Frontier Online's Biggest Update Yet

Forward .1 update coming in late April. First look here.

Monster Hunter Frontier Online sees regular updates, usually referred to as new "Seasons." The next update, due for April 20, has a different naming system, and will, according to Capcom, be the biggest update yet.

Referred to as "Monster Hunter Frontier Online Forward .1," the content of the update is currently a mystery. Capcom has shared just one screenshot:

More details will be released at the newly opened Forward .1 preview site. The site is currently just in a teaser state, but it will be updated weekly starting April 1.

As with past Monster Hunter Frontier updates, this one will be free for current owners. Newcomers will be able to pick up a "Premium Package" and "Premium Package Collectors Edition" at retail. Available for both PC and Xbox 360, these will be priced respectively ¥6,090 and ¥8,190.

The retail release includes a starter disk, starter guide, and a set of helpful items to start off your Frontier play experience. The Collectors Edition includes a figure for the game's Demetria guide character and a special Demetria-themed in-game armor set.
