Daisenryaku Set for PS360

Popular war strategy title goes HD with eight player online support.

SystemSoft Alpha is bringing the Daisenryaku strategy series to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 through Daisenryaku Perfect: Senjou no Hasha. You may recognize the name from a PSP title that was released in May of 2010.

According to the game's newly opened official site, Perfect was developed with the concept of "perfecting" turn-based strategy.

Of particular note is the large number of edit features. You can create new maps with the same level of complexity as the pre-included maps, setting troop positions and winning conditions. You can also create brand new troop types, strengthening weaker types or creating flying tanks. You can even make special land formations to fill in the map's hexagons.

Joining the single player and tutorial mode, you'll find a network battle mode that supports eight players. The Xbox 360 version even includes chat functionality (not included in the PS3 version).

SystemSoft Alpha also makes note of the game's fully 3D visuals. Battle scenes make use of high polygon models and show time and weather effects. The game includes a "visual map" mode which makes the hexagon-based maps look more photo realistic.

Daisenryaku Perfect will see PS3 and Xbox 360 release in June. Both versions are priced ¥8,190.
