Often referred to as "Oreshika," Ore no Shikabane wo Koeteyuke is an RPG that was originally released for the PlayStation back in 1999. Players work through labyrinths as they attempt to rid their family of a curse. You can see video clips of the original here.
The remake was confirmed earlier this month and was teased long before that, but its platform has been kept a secret until now.
Details mentioned in Famitsu include dramatically improved graphics, seasonal changes for fields, a more strategic battle system, and all new monsters. Development is currently 50% complete and is being handled by the original developers, including game designer Shouji Masuda.
Sony opened a teaser site for the remake earlier this month. The site will presumably get updated once Famitsu hits newsstands later this week.
