Game Jouhou has provided a few details on Marvelous Entertainment and Vanillaware's newly PSP RPG, Grand Knights History, which saw its reveal in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu.
Set in the land of Rystia, the Grand Knights History story follows three warring kingdoms, listed here with their leaders (who appear to be the main playable characters):
- Logress, the ancient kingdom -- King Fausel
- Union, kingdom of the knights -- King Leon
- Avalon, kingdom of magic -- Queen Muse
Players form their very own band of knights and head off on adventure. You can custom create your characters, selecting looks, gender, voice, and so-forth. The game promises an orthodox turn-based battle system.
Grand Knights History is being directed by Vanillaware's Tomohiko Deguchi and produced by Marvelous Entertainment's Yoshifumi Hashimoto, with Hitoshi Sakimoto working on sound. A release is planned for Summer 2011.
An earlier report mentioned network options, but we've yet to hear details on this area of the game.
