Capcom has cancelled development on Mega Man Universe. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title had been scheduled for release in Spring 2011.
In a post at the game's official site today, Capcom listed the reason for the cancelation as a vague "various circumstances."

Mega Man Universe was announced last July and went playable at the following Tokyo Game Show. The game promised to be a make-your-own Mega Man, allowing players to create and share stages and characters. Capcom also announced a few collaborative characters for the game.
