Level-5 Delays Mystery Room
Wait continues for long awaited third entry in publisher's "Atamania" casual games series.
The wait continues for Level-5's mysterious Mystery Room. The Fukuoka-based publisher announced today that the DS adventure/puzzle game is now due for release some time in 2011. It had previously been scheduled for release during the Spring.
Mystery Room was first announced at the Level-5 Vision press conference in 2009. A part of Level-5's casual Atamania brand, players solve crimes as genius detectives Poccho and Sly. You can read more details here.
After disappearing from view for almost a year, the game reappeared at last year's Level-5 Vision 2010 event, where it was revealed that gaming music legend Yuzo Koshiro would be contributing to the soundtrack in some capacity.
As reason for today's delay, Level-5 said that it determined more development time would be needed to deliver a product of desired quality.
