Electronic Arts formally announced today the Japanese PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2. The game will be released on June 23, priced ¥7,665.

For PS3 owners, EA is including bonus missions that were available as paid content on the Xbox 360 and a download code for a digital comic from Dark Horse Comics.

Microsoft handled the Japanese Xbox 360 version's release back in January and charged a bit less at ¥6,800.
