Things slowed down at retail this past week, making a little over 60,000 units good enough for first place on the Media Create Charts.

D3 Publisher's Earth Defense Forces 2 Portable took the top spot with 63,795 units sold. The sales include both the standard and "Double Enlistment Pack." The latter includes two copies of the game but costs just one and a half times the price of one copy.

The rest of the top 20 was mostly older titles. Debuting at seven was Namco Bandai's Kimi ni Todoke, a DS love-themed adventure game based of the popular Kimi ni Todoke comic and anime. Idea Factory's Are you Alice?, an adventure game for PSP.
