Resident Evil Goes Social on GREE
Capcom brings "Outbreak Survive" to the popular social mobile platform.
Another major franchise is going social on the popular GREE mobile platform. Capcom announced today "Resident Evil: Outbreak Survive," a "Social Survival Horror" game that will hit mobile phones in June.
Resident Evil: Outbreak Survive turns players into civilians who are trapped in a zombie infested Raccoon City. Players will have to attempt to survive for themselves while also working with friends, sharing heal items and forming teams to clear difficult missions.
As with all GREE games, this one will be free to play, with paid item transactions.
This will be Capcom's first title for GREE, a major competitor to the Mobagetown social mobile platform. GREE has over 23,830,000 users as of December 2010.
