Like most things Sonic, Sonic Generations was first announced overseas earlier this week. Today, Sega at long last go around to announcing the game for Japan.

Carrying the same title as its overseas counterparts, this 20th anniversary Sonic series project will be released this Winter.

Sega opened an official site today. The site is home to a trailer that you might have seen earlier.
