Hideo Kojima's Most Wanted Game Hits Japan on July 7
Metal Gear creator believes L.A. Noire could change the future of adventure games.
Gaming master Hideo Kojima doesn't just make games. He plays them too. So what game is Hideo Kojima looking forward to?
Kojima revealed the answer today at his twitter: Rockstar's L.A. Noire.
"It seems that the Japanese release for L.A. Noire has been set for July 7, tanabata" wrote Kojima. "This is the game that I'm most looking forward to this year. The English version will be released in advance in May. I want to play it soon, but it's a game where you do detective work, so perhaps it would be best if I play it in Japanese. This game will probably change the future of adventure games. Super excited!"
Kojima is right about the date. Rockstar announced the July 7 release yesterday. Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version will arrive on July 7, priced ¥7770. Yes, "7" seems to be a big theme for the Japanese release.
Joining yesterday's announcement, Rockstar shared a Japanese subtitled trailer for the game's "The Naked City" scenario which is being included as a first print bonus. You can see the trailer here:
Now which version of L.A. Noire will Kojima be picking up?
