Neptune Mk2: Parody Characters and Villains
Meet the supporting cast for Compile Hearts' PS3 sequel.
Compile Hearts shared artwork today showing the parody characters and main villains from Neptune Mk2.
The parody characters, which are meant to be in-game representations of game companies, should be familiar to those who played the original.
From left to right:
- IF-chan (voice: Kana Ueda)
- Compa-chan (voice: Kanako Sakai)
- Gust-chan (voice: Natsuko Kuwatani)
- Nippon-Ichi-chan (voice: Kawori Muzohashi)
- 5pb.-chan (voice: nao)
[Correction -- As some have pointed out, 5pb. was actually in the original as DLC. See RyougaZell's comment below]
5pb-chan is new for the sequel, although she was apparently scheduled to be download content for the original. She has a major role in the sequel, where she's a major idol from the Leanbox region. She's bright and energetic on stage but extremely shy in her private life.
As for the enemies, they all fall under the criminal organization Magicon.
From left to right, top to bottom, you have:
- Magic the Hard (voice: Chiaki Takahashi)
- Judge the Hard (voice: Kenjiro Tsuda)
- Brave the Hard (voice: Kentaro Ito)
- Trick the Hard (voice: Youji Ueda)
The villains also represent some real world game-related concepts. For instance, Brave the Hard represents poor kids who can't buy a game. Judge the Hard represents creators who've given up on their dream because their game wouldn't sell. Trick the Hard represents people who can't clear difficult games. He loves, more than anything, cheating and little girls.
