First Final Fantasy Type-0 Gameplay Footage
Square Enix demos the long awaited PSP title at a Dissidia Duodecim tournament.
Square Enix held the Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy Battle Tournament + event earlier today. But the big attraction may have actually been an upcoming Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy Type-0. Midway through the event, attendees were treated to a demo play session.
The event was broadcast on Nico Nico Video. You can see all twenty minutes of the Type-0 gameplay footage at Nico Nico (account required), or view a YouTube version here:
The clip begins with director Hajime Tabata starting up the game and going into a debug menu which has five pre-arranged slots:
- 1. The basics of the game
- 2. A fight against a powerful enemy
- 3. A look at multiplayer
- 4. A look at some of the challenging missions that require multiplayer (these aren't needed to clear the game)
- 5. A look at the air ship that you can control yourself
He then goes through each slot in succession.
Here are some screens that 4Gamer managed to capture from the event:
