Keiji Inafune's Book Released Today
So this is what Atsushi Inaba was Tweeting about! Or maybe not...
Keiji Inafune, the former Capcom super producer who quit, founded two companies, then went mad and signed up for a cameo appearance in Neptune Mk2, has penned a 192 page book. Titled "Mujun ga Aru Kara Hit wa Umareru: Inafuneryu Shigotojutsu," the book is available today in bookstores everywhere, priced ¥1,200. All proceeds from sales of the book will go to the Red Cross for earthquake relief efforts.
The book's name translates to (this is an extremely rough and thoughtless translation) "Hits Are Born Because There are Contradictions: Inafune Style Concept Work Technique." (The "Concept" may actually be "Comcept," which is the name of one of Inafune's two companies).
Chapters include "I'm a conceptor," "What does a conceptor do?", "Once you have a concept, hurry up and tell people" and "You can work overseas even if you don't speak English." Conceptor is the title Inafune gave himself when starting up his own companies.
