Dengeki Games Closes Shop

ASCII closing off multiplatform monthly publication.

ASCII will be closing off its monthly Dengeki Games publication. Editor Kazuma Nomura revealed via Twitter today that Vol.21, released today, will be the last issue.

Dengeki Games is a multiplatform counterpart to platform specific Dengeki publications like Dengeki PlayStation. The magazine saw its first issue in September 2009, but it's actual start came as Dengeki DS Style, a seasonal offshoot of Dengeki Nintendo DS that targeted a more adult audience.

Vol.20 had El Shaddai on the cover.
