Sony Still Aiming for May Japanese PSN Restart
Company says it has not given up during earnings briefing.
Sony is sticking with its promise of a May restart for the Japanese PSN service even as the month's end quickly approaches. Mainichi Digital reports that Sony officials, speaking during an earnings briefing today, said of the Japanese service, "We have not given up on a May restart."
Nikkei reported late last week that Sony was planning to restart the Japanese side of the service before the end of the month. Japan is trailing the Western world in PSN developments due to demands from the government and credit card companies. (See this story for details).
