Irem Opens Doki Doki Suikoden Home Lounge
April Fool's joke turned PSP title invades Home with school outfits.
Schoolgirls have arrived in PlayStation Home, courtesy of Irem, which somehow continues to exist even though no one bought its last remaining game that wasn't cancelled and isn't about pachinko.
That game was Doki Doki Suikoden, a PSP adaptation of an old April Fool's joke. Although the game sold under 5,000 units in its first week, this was apparently good enough to get Irem's higherups demanding even more promotions.
And so, you can log into PlayStation Home now (as of the 28th, actually) and visit the Doki Doki School Life lounge, a new lounge based off the game.
Like Doki Doki Suikoden, the lounge is themed around a classroom. There are desks, sakura trees outside the windows, and a front screen showing videos from the game. You can even purchase the game's school outfits for your Home avatars.
If you like what you see in the Doki Doki Suikoden lounge, don't go hoping for a Disaster Report or Bumpy Trot lounge, because that's probably not going to happen.
