3DS Fishing and Red Faction Armageddon Reviewed in Famitsu
No Yakuza Of the End score this week.
This week's Famitsu has a small review lineup. As detailed at Sokuho, the magazine shared its opinion on Fish On and Red Faction Armageddon.
NOTE: This story originally wrote that the Yakuza Of the End score we reported on earlier in the day was false. While it's true that the magazine did not review Of the End this week, the 10, 9, 9 and 9 score is real. The magazine reviewed the game back in March, one week before its original release date.
Fish On, one of the uncomfortably large number of upcoming 3DS fishing games, scored 6, 6, 6 and 7. The magazine said clearing the game's tournament mode will take you 30 hours, while sinking your teeth deep into the game will mean an 80 hour play time.
One reviewer said that while the game is orthodox as far as fishing games go, it does add 3D and Spot Pass functionality, along with collection aspects. There are areas that make you feel like you're working, though. Other reviewers complained about interface issues, and poor camera work. One reviewer said that after casting the fish may be in areas that you can't see.
Red Faction Armageddon scored better, receiving 9, 9, 8 and 8. The PS360 title takes 15 hours to clear in single player mode, but those who dig deep will get 30 hours play time.
