Level-5 is partnering with social gaming giant DeNA. The result? A new Layton game, of course!

The two firms held a joint press conference in Tokyo today to announce the partnership. The first phase of the partnership will be a new Layton game called Professor Layton Royale. This will be released this Fall on DeNA's popular Mobage mobile portal.

Professor Layton Royale is a social game where players select to be a detective, thief or a citizen. The game is a crossover between the Layton series and Mobage's popular Kaito Royale series.
