Hideo Kojima Doing Some Recording for Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD

Today's recording schedule at Kojima Productions.

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD Edition is mostly an HD port of PSP's Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. But there's still some original content going into the game.

Kojima Productions has already showed how the game's menus are being redone in HD for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Today, Hideo Kojima showed another area that's being redone for the HD versions: voice recording.

Just a bit of voice recording, actually. According to Kojima via Twitter, most of the recording that's being done for Peace Walker HD relates to controls. The button names on the PS3 and Xbox 360 differ from the PSP, so they have to re-record areas that refer to the buttons. They're not making changes to the story, he assured.

Kojima Productions is finishing up recording on Peace Walker HD Edition this week. You can see a few of the differences in this script sample, which show's Miller's various lines modified between PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP.

And here is Kojima with Amanda voice actress Romi Park, one of the two characters being recorded today.
