Sonic Hatsune Miku and Virtual On Hatsune Miku Revealed
Get a closer look at Sega's collaborative costumes for the upcoming PSP Project Diva game.
Here's what Hatsune Miku looks like when she's dressed up like Sonic and brought down to PSP resolutions for her appearance in Hatsune Miku Project Diva Ver. 2.5
The song depicted in the image is "Kocchi Muite Baby," which is like "Look at me, baby" (I swear I've heard people in Roppongi use it as a pick-up line before).
Other module/costume pics shared at the Project Diva blog today:
Racing Miku 2010 Ver. (Song: Yellow)
Racing Miku 2010 Ver. and Racing Rin 2010 Ver. (Song: Colorful x Melody)
Racing Miku 2011 Ver. (Song: Hatsune Miku no Gekisho)
The blog also states that the Version 2.5 opening theme song has been finalized. Sega has Ryo (supercell) and Dixie Flatline collaborating on a song called Sekiranun Graffiti (literally "Thundercloud Graffiti"). You can get a sampling of the song at the official site.
Incidentally, that story we posted earlier where we assumed a silhouetted image of an upcoming Hatsune Miku module was the game's promised Virtual On Fei-Yen costume was totally off. Sega shared artwork of the Fei-Yen module today (shown here standing next to Sonic):
The Fei-Yen module was supervised by Virtual On mecha designer Hajime Katoki.
The silhouetted image Sega shared earlier in the week has yet to be identified. It's one of three modules that have question marks above their name at the official site.
You can see more module artwork at the official site.
Finally, one little bit about PS3's Hatsune Miku Project Diva Dreamy Theater 2nd. Sega announced earlier that the game would support 3D televisions. Here's a conceptual image:
