Sega is finally ready to shares its glasses-free 3D arcade technology with the masses. At the Sega Private Show 2011 Summer press event in Tokyo today, the company announced that Let's Go Island 3D will hit arcades in July.
Let's Go Island 3D is the latest entry in the gun shooting series that also includes Let's Go Jungle. The game runs on the Ringedge arcade board and is played in an enclosed cabinet with a 52 inch glass-free 3D monitor. The cabinet can blow air at the player from four locations.
Previously, the game appeared in playable form at the AOU amusement expo in February. It has since gone on location test multiple times.
