Let's make fun of Xbox 360 software sales
Phantom Breaker and Akai Katana Shin lead the way in May and June.
Xbox 360 software sales tend to be so low that they don't make it into Media Create's weekly top 20. To get some indication of how games for the platform are selling, we must turn to Enterbrain's monthly Xbox 360 magazine, Famitsu Xbox 360.
Here are the magazine's latest Xbox 360 sales stats, as passed along at Sokuho@Hokanko.
For the month covering May 16 through June 12:
- 01. Phantom Breaker: 13,300 units
- 02. Akai Katana Shin: 7,220
- 03. Portal 2: 5,240
- 04. Dance Central: 4,130
- 05. Troy Musou: 3,660
- 06. Kinect: 2,680 (total 99,900)
- 07. Red Faction Armageddon: 2,380
- 08. Xbox Live Triple Pack: 2,320
- 09. Monster Hunter Frontier Online Forward .1 Premium Package: 1,820 (total 13,500)
- 10. Idolmaster 2: 1,750 (total 54,000)
Hardware sales for the month were 6,000 units. The system has sold a total of 1.47 million units.
