First Idolmaster PS3 Screens
Yes, you can raise idols on a Sony console. And you can take pics of the girls on the beach too!
These screens from Famitsu.com are actual PlayStation 3 screenshots of Idolmaster 2. You can tell cuz of the button icons.
If it looks a bit like the Xbox 360 version, that's probably because the game content is mostly directly ported over. Namco Bandai says that it's adjusting game balance and adding difficulty settings (since most PS3 owners are virgin idol raisers). It's also included the first few rounds of download content from the Xbox 360 version for free.
Those looking for new PS3 game content will need to pick up the pricey, as in 19,800 yen of priciness, Special Box, which includes a game called "Idolmaster Gravure For You!" In this game, you play photographer and take pics of your idol, giving her instructions like " look more sexy" and "look sad." You can save your shots to Memory Stick and trade with other players.
Gravure For You! is actually a series of titles. The Special Box comes bundled with just the first volume, which allows for photography on the beach. Volume 2 and Volume 3 will feature different situations. Namco Bandai has not said how the other volumes will be distributed (although this does sound like a plan to have PS3 owners taste the wallet pain of Idolmaster download content).
