Sony and Capcom said earlier this year that a downloadable version of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was in the works. This week, we'll finally get to play it.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd'd downloadable version will be available on July 28, Capcom announced today. The game will be priced ¥4,800. You'll need 1,095 megabytes of space on your Memory Stock.

The retail version of MHP3rd has already topped the 4.5 million mark in sales. However, at the very least, the availability of a downloadable version should benefit PSP go owners and those who want the convenience of not having to carry around a UMD.
