Suda 51 Wants to Make Bloodiest Social Game Ever
New version of No More Heroes will push limits for violence in social gaming.
Grasshopper Manufacture's Suda 51 is making a social game, but it won't be like any social game you've ever played. Discussing the Mobage version of No More Heroes at a press conference today, Suda said that he hopes to make it into the bloodiest social game ever.
As reported at Famitsu.com, Suda noted that the series involves assassins and violent expression, and said that one topic for the new version will be how far they can take violence in social gaming. "We're aiming to make it the social game with the most blood," said Suda.
He also said that, given that this is the No More Heroes series, he wants to make something that would enough "power" and "impact" to also see release overseas.
While he didn't provide a title for the new game, he joked that he'd like to make No More Heroes Royale after getting the Royale license from Mobage. (For details on Royale, see this story about Level-5's Mobage Layton game).
No More Heroes could be just the start of Suda 51's movement into social gaming. He said that he has around 100 social game concepts, and he hopes to release these one at a time.
