Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Originally Planned as Download Content
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a budget priced standalone release. But this wasn't always the plan. In an creators interview in Famitsu this week, the game's staff reveals that the game was originally planned as download content for MVC3.
Why the change in plans? Contributing factors included the March Tohoku disaster, and staff health issues.
Ultimate MVC3 itself will see some download content. Arranged costumes and new modes will be offered at some point. One mode mentioned in the Famitsu interview will let you use unlimited Hyper Combos.
As previously announced, Ultimate MVC3 will be released in November. The magazine lists the game as 80% complete.
