Level-5's made-by-girls-for-girls 3DS RPG Girl's RPG: Cinderella Life was originally a comical hostess simulation game on cell phones. On the 3DS, the word "hostess" is nowhere to be found, certainly not in relation to the main character's profession.
The less adult theme comes with good timing too, as Castle, the "entertainment center" where your player character works, is going to be getting some young guests. Inazuma Eleven's Mamoru Endo and Yuuto Kidou will be making guest appearances in the game, Famitsu reveals this week. The two will appear as clients who will drink, dine and converse with you and the other Castle staffers.
Like its cell phone counterpart, Girl's RPG will have lots of other guest characters. Famitsu mentions the following, some new and some appearing from the cell phone version:
- Lupin and Fujiko Mine from Lupin the 3rd
- Shinichi Chiaki from Nodame Cantabile
- Jo Yabuki from Tomorrow's Joe (Ashita no Jo)
- Kaiji Ito from Tobaku Mikushiroku Kaiji
- Kintaro Yajima from Salaryman Kintaro
- Yujiro Hanma from Baki the Grappler
The magazine also reveals that the game's narration will be handled by actor Leo Morimoto.
It should be noted that Endo will be appearing as an adult for the Inazuma Eleven franchise's first 3DS version, so it's possible that he'll be all grown up for his appearance in Girl's RPG too.
