Dark Souls Gets a Slight Delay
Anticipated spiritual successor to Demon's Souls pushed back by a week.
From Software appears to be having a bit of bad luck with getting its games out on time. A few weeks after announcing a delay for Armored Core V, From announced today that Dark Souls won't be making its September 15 date.
While ACV was delayed into 2012, the delay isn't as drastic for Dark Souls. The game will be now be released on September 22.
As reason for the delay, From only said that "various circumstances" required the date change.
In Japan, Dark Souls will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 3, published by From Software itself. Namco Bandai is publishing the game on both PS3 and Xbox 360 elsewhere.
