Nihon Falcom raised its yearly earnings forecasts today, citing strong performance from the Legend of Heroes series.
For the period covering October 1, 2010 to September 30 2011, the company previously expected sales of 1,100 million yen, operating earnings of 120 million yen and net earnings of 75 million yen. It now expects sales of 1,250 million yen, operating earnings of 200 million yen and net earnings of 125 million yen.
The company's revision statement cited two reasons for the change, both involving the Legend of Heroes series. Pre-orders for Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki, which is due on September 29, are strong. Additionally, Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki, is also currently selling well.
