This is the first trailer for Gladiator VS, Acquire's new PlayStation 3 online combat game that's based off the Gladiator franchise.

In addition to the information that we posted yesterday, the Famitsu.com story reveals that the game lets you create a custom character, selecting from human, elf and orc types. You can customize your character's face, hair and other areas.

Famitsu.com also reveals that the game will support cooperative play. You can team up with two or three players to work through the game's single player missions cooperatively. These mission can be cleared in five to ten minutes play time, making them perfect for quick play sessions.

Gladiator VS is due for release this year, priced ¥6,279.
