Persona 4 Fighter Goes Playable at Tokyo Game Show
Head to Makuhari in two weeks to try out this year's most unexpected fighter.
Persona 4 The Ultimate Mayonaka Arena was announced just yesterday, but it appears that Atlus has already deemed it ready for public consumption. The game will be on playable display at both the Tokyo Game Show and the 49th Amusement Machine Show (JAMMA).
Both events take place at Makuhari Messe over the same period, with TGS running from the 15th through the 18th and JAMMA running from the 15th through the 17th (JAMMA usually takes place a week before TGS). The TGS showing will be in Arc System Works' booth. The JAMMA showing will be in Taito's booth. Both events will showcase the arcade version.
The newly opened Persona PR blog also revealed today that the game will make use of Taito's NESiCAxLive and Taito Type X2 hardware and distribution system for its arcade version. This isn't too surprising considering that the BlazBlue games use a similar setup.
