Japanese Deus Ex Delayed to October

Square Enix discovers something that shouldn't be there.

The Japanese release for Deus Ex was originally scheduled for Thursday. Square Enix announced today a last minute delay to October.

The reason for the delay has to do with the discovery of an area in the game that Square Enix determined shows expressions forbidden by the Japanese games ratings board. The company determined that fixing this area would take additional time.

The offending material is apparently limited to one particular area and was visual in nature. Aside from this, Square Enix did not provide details.
