3DS will quickly become the platform of choice for Inazuma Eleven as the series' latest installment is now scheduled for release later this year. Level-5 announced today the final release date for Inazuma Eleven Go as December 15.

Like most of the Inazuma Eleven games, this one will come in two version. Players can select from "Shine" and "Dark" versions. Both are priced ¥5,800.

The two versions differ in a number of areas. In Shine you face off against the "Unlimited Shining" enemy team, headed by Captain Hakyryu. In Dark, you're up against "Ancient Dark," commanded by Captain Shu. The two versions also have unique characters that can be added to your team, unique transformations, and original story elements.
