The real attraction for Idolmaster 2 as far as download content goes is the Hatsune Miku DLC we reported on earlier. This is fully known as "Special Idol Miku Original," and it will cost you ¥1,600. In addition to Miku costumes for your idols, Miku herself will appear in the game and perform. Your idols abilities will rise when dressed as Miku.
Famitsu has an interview with Namco Bandai's Yozo Sakagami and Sega's Hiroshi Utsumi, the respective heads of Idolmaster and Hastune Miku developments. For the PSP Idolmaster and Hastune Miku collaboration, Sega approached Namco Bandai. This time, Namco Bandai approached Sega. Sega gave Namco Bandai data for Miku singing World is Mine, and Namco Bandai arranged this.
In the interview, Utsumi said that he'd like to do additional collaborations, including Macross Frontier's Sheryl and Ranka.
