Capcom became the latest publisher to share pricing for the PlayStation Vita launch. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 will launch with the system on December 17, and today Capcom revealed that it will be priced ¥4,800 in retail form and ¥4,300 in download form.
The price discrepancy for retail and download appears to be the norm for Vita games, just as it is for PSP games. As we've noted in the past, however, major retailers sell games discounted from the standard MSRP, so the actual price difference usually ends up being negligible.
The Vita version of Ultimate MVC3 will trail the release of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, which are due on November 17. Those two versions are priced ¥4,990.
Capcom gave the game's official site and update today as well, with details on an art contest, a look at what's new for Ultimate, and a look at some retailer specific costume packs. Depending on where you buy the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, you'll get a download code for the New Age of Heroes Pack, Femme Fatal Pack or the Villain Pack.
